Walker College Alumni featured in BSCC Women's Leadership Program

State Representative Connie Rowe and BSCC Career Coach Sandi Sudduth were recently chosen as presenters for Bevill State Community College’s Women’s Leadership Program. The program was held on the Sumiton campus to recognize National Women’s History Month.

WCF Trustee Matthew Woods Confirmed to the Alabama Community College’s Board of Trustees

Senate Majority Leader Greg Reed (R-Jasper) has announced that Jasper native Matthew Woods was confirmed on Thursday afternoon by the Alabama Senate to the Alabama Community College’s Board of Trustees. Woods will represent Alabama’s Fourth Congressional District, which includes Walker, Fayette, and Winston counties, on the Community College Board.

A jump start through dual enrollment

Walker College alumnus, Dr. Luke Dollar, was selected as a 2015 Outstanding Alumni for the American Association of Community Colleges in April 2015.
